This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone with event delivery experience who is looking to further develop their skills while working in a collaborative, mission-driven organisation with global reach.
Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify delivery risks and propose practical solutions to mitigate impact.
  • Provide on-site and virtual platform oversight, troubleshooting issues calmly and professionally.
  • Ensure all events reflect FAIRR’s brand standards, reputation, and stakeholder expectations.

Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Manage end-to-end attendee communications, including invitations, confirmations, joining instructions, and post-event follow-up.
  • Maintain professional relationships with external stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Support engagement tracking for investor members and partners via Salesforce and integrated event platforms (Cvent).
  • Contribute to strengthening participant experience through thoughtful communication and process improvements.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Research, Outreach, Communications, Development, and People & Culture teams to align event delivery with broader organisational goals.

Data, Reporting & Systems:
  • Own event registration data accuracy and CRM integrity, ensuring compliance with governance standards.
  • Produce post-event reporting, including attendance analysis, engagement metrics, and participant feedback insights.
  • Support budget monitoring and reconciliation, identifying variances and highlighting risks where appropriate.
  • Identify and propose improvements to event systems, workflows, and documentation processes.
Essential Criteria
  • 2–4 years’ experience in event coordination, event operations, or a related delivery-focused role.
  • Demonstrable experience supporting and managing professional in-person, hybrid, and virtual events end-to-end.
  • Experience independently managing defined event workstreams with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging professionally with external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Asana, or similar project management system, Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams) and SharePoint.
